Lazada - Creative Lead

In 2017 I joined as Creative Lead at Lazada Vietnam to build my experience of working at organisations within the product e-commerce space. I wanted to apply my learnings from Hyper Island into an organisation and saw that moving to Vietnam would be an interesting challenge.


What we did

Working closely with the team leads, design team and the business to develop and improve the user experience of the lazada app for it’s customers.

We initiated a number of design thinking workshops that helped the wider business teams analize and find solutions to new vertical launches and painpoints within the current user experience of the app.

Day to day we looked after and grew three design teams across Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore.


Results

We improved the app design and user experience for the Lazada customer ten fold.
The design workshops were effective and well received by the senior staff.
